Sheffield Smoothness
Sheffield Smoothness is an air leak smoothness test that responds to relatively large surface imperfections or undulations. A smoother, more level surface results in a lower Sheffield Smoothness value. We use a Haggerty test device to measure Sheffield Smoothness according to TAPPI Test Method T538.
